General Project Description

This project involves the widening of the Orangewood Avenue Bridge over the Santa Ana River, retrofitting existing bridge foundations, and installing Santa Ana River improvements and a new waterline within Orangewood Avenue. The comprehensive scope includes demolition of existing bridge elements and improvements, construction of new bridge widening and retaining structures, bike trail reconstruction, fencing, lighting, paving, and other appurtenant work as detailed in the approved plans and specifications. Work areas and laydown are limited to the bridge easement and temporary construction easement as identified by various permits.
