General Project Description
The City of Anaheim is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors for comprehensive non-chemical water treatment and chemical water treatment services, along with monitoring for the Anaheim Convention Center's (ACC) 10 cooling towers, chilled water loops (supporting 10,000 tons of cooling), and 3 hot water boiler systems (855HP total). The project involves maintaining a biostatic environment, removing soluble minerals, and ensuring corrosion control. Services include regular site visits, laboratory analyses (corrosion coupon, water, deposit, microbiological), system automation and monitoring with cellular transmission to the Building Management System (BMS), chemical inventory management, annual reviews, and adherence to specific performance requirements for mild steel and copper corrosion and microbiological activity for both open and closed loop systems. The contract is for an initial term of one year with options for four additional one-year renewals.
