General Project Description

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the maintenance and repair of city park water features across multiple locations in Anaheim, CA, including Ponderosa Park, Walnut Grove Park Fountain, Colony Park, Pearson Park Amphitheater, Miraloma Park, and Brookhurst Park Splash Pads. The scope includes operational season maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, semi-annual, winterization, re-activation), factory-recommended preventative maintenance, and polishing and waxing of water features. Additionally, the contract covers "as needed" labor for repairs (regular, overtime, double time), trip charges, minimum service fees, and fixed markup percentages for subcontracted work, rentals, and materials, with an annual allowance of up to $30,000 for unforeseen repairs. The contractor must hold a valid C-53 Swimming Pool Contractor License, and all assigned technicians must have current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification. The work involves water quality management, filtration systems, chemical feed systems, control panels, pump systems, and adherence to OEM guidelines.
