General Project Description

The City of Arcadia is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the design, delivery, construction, and installation of a self-supporting radio communications tower and a new fire-mitigated communications shelter for the Arcadia Police Department's repeater site. The project involves assessing and potentially replacing an existing foundation, installing Department-provided antennas, furnishing and installing coaxial cable runs, P25-compatible repeaters, RF equipment, UPS systems, and equipment racks, along with connecting commercial power. The new tower and shelter must be weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant, structurally sound, and designed to withstand wildfire, flooding, and other environmental hazards. The goal is to deliver a fully operational, turnkey communications site capable of supporting radio communications.
