General Project Description

This project involves significant pedestrian infrastructure upgrades and repairs throughout the City of Arroyo Grande. The scope includes the construction of curb extensions, speed tables, crosswalk improvements, and a refuge island on East Branch Street and Huasna Road. It also covers landscaping, storm drain inlet improvements on East Branch Street and Hillcrest Drive, sidewalk improvements on Elm Street south of Sunset Drive, installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) and speed signs, and various sidewalk repair. The work includes demolition, earthwork, concrete pouring for curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveways, asphalt paving, storm drain installation, traffic control, pavement markings, and installation of lighting and signage elements.
