General Project Description
The City of Artesia is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide "as-needed" building and safety (B&S) services for residential and non-residential projects. The scope includes supplementing in-house staff with consulting services in areas such as building plan check for high-profile projects, building inspection, building code enforcement, and building counter operations. The selected consultant will be required to provide a Certified Building Official, Plan Checker, and Building and Safety Inspectors, including after-hours services, and to utilize the City's OpenGov permitting software. The agreement term is initially three years with two (2) optional one-year extensions.
