General Project Description

This project, Phase 3B of the Civic Center Housing Project, involves the on-site delivery, stitching, and construction of modular housing units previously delivered by an off-site manufacturer. The scope includes receiving 39 modular units, traffic control, modular logistics (shipping from San Pedro to Avalon), crane rental for unit setting, installation of PT sill plates, modular unit setting onto foundations, MEP connections (sewer, potable water, salt water, fire suppression, electrical, comms), roof assemblies (main, corridor & stair, gutters, down spouts), exterior water resistant barrier and flashing, exterior siding (fiber cement battens, trims, accents), stair and railing for town home units, exterior railing, exterior stairs, corridor connections, balcony & corridor support posts, drywall repairs/interior paint touch-up, exterior painting, common area lighting, common storage area floor, wall and ceiling connector/cover strips, balcony and corridor decking, water heater structures, utility closet, and balcony separation walls.
