General Project Description

This project involves street improvements at the Intersection of Stine Road and McKee Road. The work encompasses general civil construction activities, including earthwork/roadway excavation and clearing, modifications to traffic signal equipment, relocation of existing roadside signs, adjustment of manholes, and construction of a full pavement section consisting of Hot Mix Asphalt over Class II Aggregate Base. Additional tasks include the installation of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) dikes, pavement striping and markings, new roadside signs, vehicle loop detectors, conduit, and traffic-rated pull boxes. Project work also requires traffic control, construction staking, storm water pollution prevention, dust control, and environmental protections for San Joaquin Kit Fox and birds.
