General Project Description
This project seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for the 20-acre Mesa Marin Sports Complex in Bakersfield, CA. The complex features four lighted softball fields, concession, storage, and restroom buildings, parking lots, and various landscape improvements. The contract spans an initial three-year term with two optional one-year renewals. The scope includes daily, weekly, special, and program maintenance tasks such as restroom cleaning and sanitization, waste management, irrigation system monitoring and repairs, graffiti removal, pedestrian walkway and field area cleaning, turf management (fertilization, weed control, aeration, top dressing, overseeding), tree and shrub trimming per American National Pruning Standards, ground cover maintenance, mitigation of safety hazards, and sports field preparation for league play and special events/tournaments. The work emphasizes ensuring facility cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
