General Project Description

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking design-build entities to perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of existing facilities and equipment. The primary purpose is to identify and replace noncompliant plumbing fixtures and appliances that fail to meet water efficiency standards, eligible for funding under the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency Program (CalSHAPE). The selected design-build entity will develop an Assessment Plan, prepare a detailed Implementation Plan, and then provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to perform the approved Implementation Work in a workmanlike manner. This project specifically involves the removal, replacement, and installation of high-efficiency interior faucets, toilets, and limited showerheads across 18 school sites within the District.
