General Project Description

The City of Barstow is seeking proposals from qualified landscape contractors for city-wide landscape maintenance services. The scope encompasses maintenance of various City facilities, parks, public rights-of-way, streetscapes, planters, parking lots, and trails, including new areas from future development. The services, to be performed across 15 identified locations on a weekly or monthly basis, include comprehensive landscape maintenance (e.g., mowing, edging, shrub/ground cover care, weed abatement, debris removal, paved surface upkeep), irrigation system maintenance (operation, repair, and reporting), and general reporting services. Contractors must supply all necessary labor, insurance, materials, dumping, and equipment, adhering to City standards, specifications, and California MUTCD requirements for traffic control where applicable.
