General Project Description

The Belmont-Redwood Shores School District is seeking proposals for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services for a District-Wide HVAC Replacement Project. The project involves preconstruction services such as constructability review, value engineering, master scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and the procurement of mechanical units (HVAC). Construction services include the replacement of existing HVAC units with new rooftop units, wall heat pump units, split systems, fans, associated ductwork, MEP connections, and minor structural modifications and controls at seven K-8 school sites within Belmont and Redwood City, CA. The project aims to improve facilities as part of the District’s Facilities Master Plan funded by a $171 Million Measure P Bond, focusing on technology infrastructure, classroom equipment, old system (roofs, heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical) upgrades/repairs, and safety/security systems updates.
