Belvedere City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Beach Road Stabilization Project (BRSP), identified under Solicitation ID: BRSP2026. Work is to be performed near 450 San Rafael Ave, Belvedere, CA 94920, USA in Marin County.
General Project Description
The Beach Road Stabilization Project (BRSP) involves installing sheet piling along a portion of the Beach Road seawall to stabilize the existing seawall, protect it from erosion, and protect the Beach Road levee from earthquake deformation. The work includes installing approximately 450 linear feet of 32-foot deep steel sheet piling on the bayside of the existing seawall connected with reinforced concrete backfill and anchor bolts, and approximately 133 linear feet of 36-foot deep steel sheet piling in the roadway in front of the 30-38 Beach Road building, connected with reinforced concrete beams and helical anchors. The project also requires sidewalk and roadway demolition and in-kind restoration, traffic control, utility line disconnections, temporary utility service, and permanent utility line restorations.
