Benicia City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, FACILITIES NEEDS CONDITION ASSESSMENT / CAPITAL RESERVE ANALYSIS, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP# 26-035. Work is to be performed near Benicia Rd, Vallejo, CA, USA in Solano County.
General Project Description
The City of Benicia is soliciting a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive Facilities Condition Assessment and Facility Reserve Study for 23 of its 36 municipal buildings citywide. The assessment will identify and document construction defects, building components at or nearing the end of their useful life, building systems (substructure, envelope, conveyance, roofing, electrical, plumbing, pumps, heating, fire protection, sprinkler, smoke/carbon monoxide detection, seismic retrofit requirements, ADA compliance), and routine maintenance items costing $3,000 or less will be excluded. The Facility Reserve Study will estimate total maintenance and capital replacement costs per building, assign a letter grade/numerical score for overall condition, and provide a long-term financial plan. The project must be completed within one year of contract execution.
