General Project Description
The City of Benicia's Public Works department is requesting proposals from qualified companies to perform annual system-wide leak detection and on-call services for the City's water distribution system. This will include leak detection of water mains, water service lines, valves, and fire hydrant lines throughout the City, including the Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Raw Water Transmission Line. The contract will cover a two-year period (FY 2025-26 through FY 2026-27) with the goal of reducing water loss, improving system efficiency, and supporting preventative maintenance.
