General Project Description

This project involves the installation of replacement and new public safety cameras, associated structured cabling, and network communication hardware at various indoor and outdoor locations throughout the City of Benicia. The scope includes furnishing, installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning complete video surveillance camera systems, cloud-connected appliances, and network communication equipment. It also encompasses removal and disposal of existing cameras and cabling, along with providing structured cabling systems (including copper and fiber optic cabling, conduits, patch panels, switches) and mounting poles. The project includes provisions for video storage, retention capacity, software licensing, and extended warranties for the complete system. Specific locations include City Hall, Police Department, Community Center, Library, Investigations, First Street Pier, City Park/Fire Station, Lake Herman Park, and various other public infrastructure points in Benicia.
