General Project Description

The City of Berkeley is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide as-needed tree services. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removing trees, stumps, pruning trees, clearing brush, and general clean-up of debris to support the City's Urban Forestry Program. These services address over 35,000 trees located in the Park, Recreation & Waterfront Department's inventory, City-owned parcels, and public rights-of-way. Services will be provided on a task-order basis, requiring contractors to assess existing tree and site conditions, perform stump grinding activities, manage traffic control, and obtain necessary permits.
