Beverly Hills Unified School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, SOUTH SITE PREPARATION & EARTHWORK AT BEVERLY HILLS HIGH SCHOOL, identified under Solicitation ID: BID # FAC-2025-26-04. Work is to be performed near 9865 W Olympic Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves site preparation and earthwork activities at Beverly Hills High School. The scope includes demolition and removal of existing structures such as concrete pads, retaining walls, foundations, steps, handrails, fencing, vegetation, trees, and miscellaneous debris. Earthwork involves the excavation of approximately 24,000 square feet of soil to a depth of 18 feet, including the removal of arsenic-impacted soil during off-hours, and proper disposal of all excavated materials. The project also requires the removal/relocation of existing abandoned utilities (8" cast iron water line, sewer line), general grading to achieve a clean and level finished surface by wheel rolling, and site dewatering as necessary. Essential services include surveying, staking, street sweeping/cleaning, dust control, and implementation of a traffic control plan for safe access and public flow. Construction of new concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, bollards, concrete ramps with handrails, concrete walls, catch basins, concrete curbs, concrete stairs, and truncated domes is also part of the work.
