General Project Description

The City of Big Bear Lake Public Works Department is seeking proposals from experienced and licensed Landscape Maintenance Contractors for the annual planting of flowers in the Village's landscape areas for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The scope includes preparing the ground, installing City-furnished plant material (flowers), and dressing planter areas with City-furnished mulch. The contractor is responsible for providing necessary tools, equipment, and personnel for these tasks, as well as job site safety, aesthetics, cleanup, debris transportation and disposal, and verification/repair of irrigation post-planting. The City will furnish plant material, mulch, fertilizer, and topsoil, and will provide project oversight. Work is anticipated to start around May 1, 2026, and be completed within 30 working days.
