General Project Description
The Bonsall Unified School District is seeking proposals from qualified service providers for Wide Area Network (WAN) connections, specifically for Leased Lit fiber solutions. The project involves providing, constructing, installing, programming, maintaining, and monitoring these services across multiple school sites. The scope includes establishing Point-to-Multi-Point services with minimum 250Mbps connections (and higher specified bandwidths for individual sites), covering all necessary one-time special construction and build-out costs such as conduit/trenching, cabling, network facility construction, permits, design, engineering, and project management. The successful respondent will also provide all necessary equipment, software, and professional services, including Ethernet Virtual Connections (EVCs), ensuring full duplex operation, and supporting various network protocols. Services must adhere to an industry-standard Service Level Agreement (SLA) for network availability, packet delivery rate, latency, mean time to repair, and 24/7/365 monitoring.
