General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of an existing water treatment plant's finished water storage tanks. The scope includes sandblasting and recoating the interior and exterior of two steel tanks (Tank No. 1 and No. 2), removal of existing baffle walls and supports, installation of new tank mixers and control panels, replacement of existing cathodic protection with new systems, replacement of existing pressure transmitters with new units for both tanks, demolition of existing submersible pumps and appurtenances, and installation of a new package lift station. The plant must remain fully operational during construction, and all work must comply with regulatory requirements from the Department of Public Health.
