General Project Description

This project involves the installation of new electrical conduit for the McMurray Water Treatment Plant via a combination of horizontal directional drilling and open trench methods. The scope includes the installation of an electrical vault, removal of existing underground electrical facilities and enclosures, and implementation of appropriate traffic control measures. The contract requires coordination with PG&E standards and City of Buellton standard details for restoration, including concrete sidewalk, curb, AC pavement, and landscape. The contractor must also obtain an encroachment permit from the City and comply with NPDES requirements and storm water pollution prevention best management practices.
