Burbank City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, CHLORAMINE BOOSTING SYSTEMS FOR RESERVOIRS 1, 4, AND 5, identified under Solicitation ID: 1545. Work is to be performed near 275 E Olive Ave, Burbank, CA 91502, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves the construction of new Chloramine Boosting Systems at Reservoirs 1, 4, and 5 in the City of Burbank. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing trees, piping, and equipment; new grading and construction of retaining walls and CMU buildings to house the chloramine boosting system, on-site hypochlorite generation (OSHG) system, chemical storage tanks, chemical metering pump skids, total chlorine residual analyzers, and sample water recovery systems. It also includes the installation of double-contained chemical feed piping (underground and exposed), new sample pumps and mixers within the reservoirs, associated electrical equipment, programming, startup testing, commissioning of the facility, safety showers, water service piping, and other appurtenances as specified in the plans.
