Butte County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Used Oil Recycling and Disposal, identified under Solicitation ID: 26-11. Work is to be performed near 205 Mira Loma Dr suite 10, Oroville, CA 95965, USA in Butte County.
General Project Description
The County of Butte is soliciting bids for used oil recycling and disposal services from various county facilities including Neal Road Recycling & Waste Facility Shop, Oroville Fleet Shop, Chico Fleet Shop, and City of Biggs Public Works. The contractor will be responsible for the collection, transfer, transportation, storage, and management of disposal of used oil, used metal drain/crushed oil filters, used paper non-metal oil filters, water absorbent/oily debris, non-conforming mixed filters, and used antifreeze. This service also includes providing replacement DOT 55-gallon drums. Collections are to occur during regular business hours on an approximately 30-to-45-day rotation or upon call, utilizing the County's EPA Generator Identification Number for each specified location. The contract term is anticipated to be three (3) years with an option for two (2) one-year extensions, maintaining firm, fixed pricing for the initial three years and considering price escalation (not exceeding 3% per year) for subsequent years.
