General Project Description
The County of Butte is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide comprehensive design and engineering services for infrastructure stabilization at two Cal Fire Stations (72 in Palermo and 55 in Bangor), funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The scope includes preliminary assessment and planning, design development, permitting and regulatory compliance, preparation of construction documents, bid phase support, construction phase services, and project management. Specific work at Fire Station 72 includes replacing a 20'x60' concrete apparatus bay apron, two gas-fired 100 MBU apparatus bay heaters, and six 12'x12' overhead sectional apparatus bay doors with associated motors and guide rails. At Fire Station 55, the scope involves resealing and restriping existing asphalt surfaces, replacing a 10'x5' sidewalk for water drainage improvement, and replacing a double door in the hose room, including stucco repair and repainting.
