General Project Description

The Butte County Public Works Department is seeking multiple qualified firms to provide professional on-call land surveying services for locally and federally funded projects on an as-needed basis over a five-year period. The services will support project delivery goals, particularly during natural disaster recovery operations or high-volume construction seasons. Work will be issued on a task-order basis and may be funded by FHWA, FEMA, or CDBG-DR. The scope includes a wide range of land surveying activities such as right-of-way data compilation, drafting of record maps, field surveys for monument location and identification, boundary resolution, creation and filing of corner records and record of surveys, construction staking, topographic surveying, base mapping, locating field observations (e.g., geotechnical investigations, utility pothole information), legal description and exhibit creations, monument preservation, and general consultation.
