General Project Description
This project entails accessible upgrades to existing men's and women's restrooms and drinking fountains, including site improvements such as new fencing, gate, and accessible parking stall signage. Interior renovations specifically include the relocation of water closets for ADA compliance, replacement of wall and floor tiles, removal and re-installation of toilet partitions for finish work, installation of new toilet accessories (e.g., paper hand towel dispensers, sanitary napkin/tampon vendors, soap dispensers, grab bars), and new door signage. The work also covers general requirements such as comprehensive demolition and protection, concrete slab vapor emission and alkalinity control treatment, pipe and tube railings, joint sealants, door hardware installation, gypsum board and sheathing finishes, and painting/coating for all exposed surfaces.
