General Project Description

The City of Calexico Planning & Building Department is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call, as-needed building plan check and inspection services. The general scope of services includes supplementing City staff in performing examination of plans, calculations, specifications, and reports for residential and commercial building (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy, green, structural, architectural, and accessibility) and completing corresponding site inspections. The firm will also provide Certified Access Specialist (CASp) services. The City seeks a consultant agreement for an initial term of three years with optional one-year extensions, with compensation based on mutually agreed upon hourly rates for services rendered.
