General Project Description

This project is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for High Mast Lighting Repair Services at the Central California Women's Facility (CCWF) in Chowchilla, CA. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supplies, transportation, licenses, and permits necessary to repair the Institution's 100-foot High Mast Lighting head frame assemblies. This scope includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of worn or damaged latch pins, strand vises, wheels, wheel axles, axle nuts, reflectors, and reflector holders that impede the mechanical lowering and raising of the lighting assembly. Services are to be provided on an as-needed basis during regular business hours, with emergency services available after hours. A 24-hour response time is required for repair service requests, and most repairs should be completed the same workday or within five working days if parts are needed. All replacement parts must be new, factory-manufactured, or of equivalent quality, with parts invoiced at a 10% discount from a published price list. The services apply to specific high mast lighting poles identified as HM1 through HM22, located across various buildings and exercise yards within the facility.
