General Project Description

This project entails asphalt concrete paving services at Mule Creek State Prison (MCSP) as part of the Correctional Construction Mentorship Program. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and permits to install approximately 80 tons of Type A Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), at a minimum 4-inch thickness and 92% compaction, at seven specified locations within the prison. Work includes paving parking lots, administration roadways, and various trench patches (42" wide and 36" wide) across different yard areas. The contractor is responsible for inspecting and accepting grade before AC installation, with the work adhering to Cal Trans Specifications.
