General Project Description

This project involves a Master Agreement for Fire Suppression System Services across various California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions/facilities statewide. The contractor will provide semi-annual, annual, and/or bi-annual maintenance, inspection, and testing for fire protection systems, including tripping and resetting systems, visual inspection of components, cleaning and replacing hardware, inspection of hangers/seismic bracing/pipes/fittings, testing of alarm devices/panels/annunciators/drains/anti-freeze solutions/hose nozzles, maintenance of valves and low point drains, replacement/refill/re-charge of chemicals for clean agent/chemical systems, replacement of nitrogen/Co2 cylinders, fire pump flow testing, and five-year fire sprinkler and standpipe testing and certification. All necessary repairs and parts replacement are included, with services provided at applicable hourly rates covering labor, personnel, transportation, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, taxes, and fees. Emergency and overtime services are also required.
