Unofficial Notice of Invitation to Bid (NIB)

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Fire Alarm System Installation Services, identified under Solicitation ID: C5613120-D. Work is to be performed near 4001 King Ave, Corcoran, CA 93212, USA in Kings County.

General Project Description

This project involves the installation, connection, and activation of a fully functional Fire Alarm System (FAS) at the California State Prison, Corcoran (COR). The scope specifically includes replacing the existing FAS in Building 307A, Facility III A Kitchen, encompassing the first and second floors, as well as the rooftop. The Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, design, engineering, equipment, parts, devices, materials, programming, tools, installation, supervision, inspection, training, licenses, permits, insurance, bonds, transportation, travel, and other associated costs. The work includes conduits, wiring, heat sensors, strobes, smoke detectors, flow sensors, valve switches, switches for door closers, and the furnishing of new Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) with relays and other components required for automatic transmission of trouble and alarm indications. Post-installation, the contractor must provide technical support and training for CDCR staff and submit as-built documents and operation/maintenance data.
