California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Spray on Fireproofing Services, identified under Solicitation ID: C5613119-D. Work is to be performed near 900 Quebec Ave, Corcoran, CA 93212, USA in Kings County.
General Project Description
The project involves providing spray-on fireproofing services on an "as-needed" basis for various buildings at California State Prison Corcoran (COR) and Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (SATF). The Contractor is responsible for installing CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD Spray-on Fire Resistive Material (SFRM) patching and repair. This includes providing manufacturer-licensed applicators and all necessary fireproofing materials to meet or exceed CDCR and State Fire Marshal (SFM) requirements. The SFRM will be applied to structural steel roof members, precast concrete steel connections, roof pan decking, and structural steel columns to restore their original fire-resistive design. Application thicknesses will range from ½" to 1-7/8" as required by U.L. Designs. The project will begin with a preliminary site inspection and a formal Work Plan submission and approval process.
