General Project Description

This is a Master Agreement for Universal and Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal Services for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions/facilities statewide. The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, transportation, materials, supplies, tools, necessary equipment, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, and shipping/freight charges. The scope includes hazard categorization testing of unknown materials, spill cleanup, providing DOT-approved packaging and overpack containers, providing specified supplies (e.g., bagged vermiculite, waste labels, visqueen sheeting, sample collection supplies), assessing needs for overpacking/re-containerizing, performing lab packing, and ensuring proper transportation and disposal to permitted TSDFs. Disposal of non-hazardous waste and medical waste regulated by the Medical Waste Management Act is not part of this Agreement.
