California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, NON-HAZARDOUS GARBAGE COLLECTION REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES, identified under Solicitation ID: C5613039-D. Work is to be performed near 1515 S St #101n, Sacramento, CA 95811, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This is a Master Agreement for Non-Hazardous Garbage Collection, Removal, and Disposal Services for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions/facilities statewide. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, equipment, and transportation. A key component of the scope is implementing a diversion program for recyclable materials from landfills, with the contractor retaining ownership of these materials until proper disposal. Services include providing and maintaining various container types (e.g., rollable steel wheel dumpsters, open top bins, compactors, and 64-gallon carts) and adhering to scheduled pickups. The contractor is responsible for steam cleaning and painting containers annually or as determined by the institution, at the contractor's expense. Monthly and annual reports detailing waste collected, processed, diverted, and residual tonnages are required. Bidders are not required to bid on all locations, as individual Purchase Orders will be issued for each participating facility.

- Quantity: 1 Unit: 1.5 CUBIC YARD Work Item: Non-Hazardous Garbage Collection, Removal and Disposal Services, Specifications: Rollable steel wheels, Service Schedule: 1 day per week (Monday) at Voc. Maint. Building at Pelican Bay State Prison (PBSP).
- Quantity: 1 Unit: 40 CUBIC YARD Work Item: Non-Hazardous Garbage Collection, Removal and Disposal Services, Specifications: SANI-PAK Sterilizer compactor bin, Service Schedule: 2 days per week (Tues, Fri) at North side of MSC at California Health Care Facility/Dewitt Nelson Annex (CHCF).
- Quantity: 2 Unit: 6 CUBIC YARD Work Item: Non-Hazardous Garbage Collection, Removal and Disposal Services, Specifications: Rollable steel wheels, Service Schedule: 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) as per Site Map (provided by Institution) at Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center (CTC). Contractor shall provide and install a new liner in each 6 cubic yard container.
