General Project Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms to provide institutional design services under a division-wide retainer agreement. The scope includes design for various statewide new construction, additions, alterations, and renovations of existing buildings, infrastructure, or building systems upgrades and replacements at adult male and female correctional facilities. Services encompass special studies, preliminary plans, working drawings and specifications, bidding, construction support, and commissioning, using a design-bid-build delivery method. Consultants will be responsible for all A/E disciplines, geotechnical investigations, hazardous materials surveys, utility coordination, site engineering, and LEED analysis, developing comprehensive construction documents and providing support throughout all project phases.

All drawings and specifications must be stamped and signed by California licensed architects and engineers.
