General Project Description
This contract involves providing comprehensive Elevator Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair Services for the California State Prison, Solano. The contractor will perform monthly systematic preventative maintenance, annual safety testing (including load testing and relief & cylinder valve testing), and all necessary repairs for three specific hydraulic passenger elevators (Silverstate, Veterans, and Montgomery models) located across various buildings within the institution. The scope includes all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, licenses, and insurance, and covers the repair or replacement of parts due to wear and tear. Emergency repair services must be provided within an eight (8) hour response time. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring the equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications and complies with all applicable safety codes and regulations, including those from CAL OSHA and the California State Administrative Code for Elevators.

- Quantity: 60 Unit: Services Work Item: Monthly Preventative Maintenance for Elevators. Specifications: Perform systematic preventative maintenance covering lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, calibration, alignment, timing, filter replacement, and operational testing, ensuring equipment meets manufacturer's specifications. A minimum of two (2) hours of service per elevator per month. (Applies to all three specified elevators over the contract term.)
- Quantity: 5 Unit: Services Work Item: Annual Safety Testing and Inspections for Elevators (Including Load Testing & Relief & Cylinder Valve Testing). Specifications: Conduct annual safety tests and inspections for all equipment, specifically including safety devices and governors, in accordance with the current California State Administrative Code for Elevators. Tests must be witnessed by an authorized OSHA representative. (Applies to all three specified elevators over the contract term.)
- Quantity: - Unit: Hour Work Item: Non-Emergency Repair Services for Elevators. Specifications: Provide repair services for elevator breakdowns or malfunctions that are not emergencies, with repairs completed within five (5) working days if parts are available.
- Quantity: - Unit: Hour Work Item: Emergency Repair Services for Elevators. Specifications: Respond to emergency repair requests within eight (8) hours of the initial notification.
- Quantity: - Unit: LS Work Item: Parts Replacement for Elevators. Specifications: Provide and replace any worn, inoperable, or otherwise affecting operability parts. Estimated budget for parts over the contract term is $20,000.00.
