General Project Description

This is a Master Agreement for Fire Suppression System Services to be provided across various California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions/facilities statewide. The contractor will perform semi-annual, annual, and/or bi-annual maintenance, inspection, and testing, as well as hourly repair services, under a rate sheet. The scope includes tripping and resetting fire protection systems, visual inspection of all components, cleaning and replacing hardware, testing all alarm devices, maintaining valves, replacing/refilling/recharging chemicals, replacing nitrogen/CO2 cylinders, fire pump flow testing, and five-year fire sprinkler and standpipe testing and certification. The contract also covers parts replacement and emergency/overtime services, to include design layout for fire alarm system removal.
