General Project Description

The project entails providing comprehensive Waste and Recycle Management Services to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees for the collection, hauling, processing, and disposal of trash and recyclable materials. This includes providing and maintaining various sizes of locking dumpsters for miscellaneous office trash and recyclables at three specified locations in McClellan, CA. Services include regular pick-ups of office trash, co-mingled recyclables, 35-gallon food waste dumpsters, and 40-yard trash dumpsters, adhering to a defined schedule (e.g., two times per week for office trash, once per week for recyclables, monthly for food waste, bi-monthly for 40-yard dumpsters) during normal working hours. The contractor must proactively inspect dumpsters, replace damaged or unsanitary units promptly, maintain dumpsters in good condition, keep surrounding areas free of debris, and address contamination levels in waste streams in collaboration with CAL FIRE. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement.
