California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Property Sweeping and Pressure Washing Services at the Westminster DMV Field Office, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-239. Work is to be performed near 13700 Hoover St, Westminster, CA 92683, USA in Orange County.

General Project Description

This project involves providing property sweeping and pressure washing services at the Westminster DMV Field Office for a period of thirty-six (36) months. The scope includes sweeping all paved surfaces accessible to motor vehicles (parking lots, driveways, skills test areas, gated vehicle enclosure areas, etc.) five times per week during non-DMV business hours (Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following business day). Pressure washing services will be performed two times per month, on the first and third weekends, also during non-DMV business hours. The contractor must utilize truck-mounted equipment for sweeping and use environmentally safe oil absorbent for oil spills, ensuring proper disposal of all waste offsite. Specific tasks include manual trash pick-up, debris removal from drains, and careful pressure washing to avoid damage to surfaces or adjacent structures.

General Bid Items

  • Quantity: 1  Unit: MONTH  Work Item: Property Sweeping Services – five (5) times per week, during non-DMV business hours (Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following DMV business day). Specifications: Utilize truck-mounted equipment (trailer-mounted equipment not permitted) to sweep all paved surfaces accessible to motor vehicles (parking lots, driveways, skills test areas, gated vehicle enclosure areas, etc.), corners, behind wheel stops/parking blocks, around waste/ash receptacles, inside/outside dumpster enclosures, on all sidewalks/walkways (including areas adjacent to buildings/structures), doorway/entryway areas, alcoves, and under/around trees/shrubs near paved surfaces, patio area. Manually pick up trash and debris where mechanical equipment cannot be used. Remove oil spills using environmentally safe oil absorbent and dispose of properly. Remove debris from all drains. Haul away and dispose of all trash and debris offsite.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: MONTH  Work Item: Property Pressure Washing Services – two (2) times per month, on the first (1st) and third (3rd) weekend of the month, during non-DMV business hours. Specifications: Use own water source and appropriate PSI to avoid surface damage. Remove spills, dirt, debris, bird droppings, cobwebs, and stains from paved surfaces accessible to motor vehicles, inside/outside dumpster enclosures, sidewalks/walkways/curbs (including areas adjacent to buildings/structures), doorway/entryway areas, carport structures, alcoves, overhangs, eaves, columns, benches, waste/ash receptacles, building walls, patio area. Immediately wipe off water or cleaning solution from windows, doors, glass, or surrounding areas. Do not blow, sweep, or push trash/debris into drains, landscape, or plants. Haul away and dispose of all trash and debris offsite.
