California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Parking Lot Repair, Seal and Stripe Services at the Whittier DMV Field Office, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-269. General Project Description
This project involves comprehensive parking lot repair, sealing, and striping services at the Whittier DMV Field Office. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of 2 inches of asphalt, extensive asphalt overlays (2.5 inches compacted finish), and the application of asphalt seal coating. Additional work comprises the installation of four asphalt speed bumps and replacement of forty concrete wheel stops. The project also entails thorough pavement cleaning, crack sealing, application of prime and tack coats, interim and final parking lot striping, repainting existing curbs and symbols, and installation of glass beads in specific areas. Contractor responsibilities include verifying all site dimensions and conditions prior to commencing work.
