California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Removal and Replacement of Carpet Flooring at the West Covina DMV Field Office, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-284. Work is to be performed near 800 S Glendora Ave, West Covina, CA 91790, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This Small Business Bid Solicitation (SB Bid) is for the removal and replacement of carpet flooring at the West Covina DMV Field Office. The project requires the contractor to provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel to remove existing carpet and vinyl composition tile, prepare sub-floors, and install approximately 3,846 square feet of carpet tile and 1,503 square feet of vinyl composition tile. The scope also includes furnishing dumpster service, conducting moisture testing, handling office furniture (unloading, dismantling earthquake straps, re-leveling, raising, and resetting electrical/communication monuments), installing trim, re-hanging doors, replacing door stops, and providing Negative Air Machines during and after installation. New cove base will also be installed. All work is to be completed within 30 calendar days of the specified start date, within a sixteen-month contract term, primarily on weekends.
