California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Dockside Recycle Waste Removal Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-300. Work is to be performed near 2415 1st Ave, Sacramento, CA 95818, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
The project involves providing dockside recyclable waste removal services at two California Department of Motor Vehicles facilities in Sacramento: the DMV Headquarters Building East (2415 First Avenue) and a Warehouse (4201 Sierra Point Drive). The contractor is required to provide and service various sizes of recycle waste bins for specific materials (white paper, mixed paper, plastic, cardboard, metal, California Redemption Value (CRV), plastic wrap/shrink wrap, and pallets/wood). Services include weekly or twice-weekly collection and removal of these materials, bailing and palletizing cardboard, and the removal of approximately thirty (30) junk pallets weekly at the Headquarters Building East and fifteen (15) standard pallets weekly at the Warehouse. The contractor is also responsible for equipping bins with locks and replacing any lost or damaged equipment.
