California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 25-331 Telecommunications Network Cabling, Related Electrical Services, and Related Hardware Installation Services for the San Pedro DMV Field Office, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-331. Work is to be performed near A St, Los Angeles, CA, USA in Los Angeles County.

General Project Description

This project entails telecommunications network cabling, related electrical services, and hardware installation for the San Pedro DMV Field Office renovation. The scope includes selective demolition of existing wiring and conduit, installation of new Category-6e data cabling (plenum and non-plenum rated) with modular jacks and patch panels, speaker cable, coaxial cable, and electrical wiring (including dedicated and Isolated Ground (IG) branch circuits and receptacles). Work involves the installation of conduits and raceways, and modifications to electrical panels, all adhering to California Electric Code (CEC), California Building Code (CBC), California Fire Code (CFC), ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, ICEA, NECA, NEMA, NFPA, and UL standards. The contractor is also responsible for installing various communication room equipment, as well as disconnecting, dismounting, and reinstalling/setting up existing or new Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system equipment (cameras, DVR, monitors) and Wireless Access Point (WAP) devices, including associated CAT 6 cabling.
