General Project Description

This project involves providing chilled water pipe insulation replacement services for the DMV Headquarters Building West. The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel to perform insulation and aluminum jacketing repair services on the chilled water supply lines of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The contractor is responsible for field verifying existing dimensions and site conditions. Specific tasks include installing Dyplast 1 ½” thick insulation for building valves and chilled water lines (matching existing thickness), and applying 016 gauge smooth aluminum jacketing with a safety edge, secured by ½" plain stainless-steel bands at 11" centers.
