General Project Description

This project involves a complete overhaul of the existing microgrid solar system at Red Rock State Park. The scope includes the demolition, recycling, and disposal of existing solar panels, inverters, battery banks, and associated appurtenances. New components to be provided, installed, and tested include lithium-ion Sol-ARK L3 Series Limitless battery banks, Silfab or similar Sil-590 XM+ solar panels on a free-stand array, Solark 15k inverters, and an automatic transfer switch. The new system will be reconnected to the existing electrical system, including backup generator. Additional requirements include a web-based monitoring system, utility rebate and financing application submission, comprehensive training, 6-month system check-up, service, and a 10-year workmanship warranty. Extensive electrical work, concrete foundations, earthing, firestopping, and site preparation for storm water control are also integral.
