General Project Description

This project involves asphalt resurfacing services on McDonald Creek Road and Park Road at Dry Lagoon within Humboldt Lagoons State Park in Humboldt County, California. The scope of work includes conformance grinding and surface preparation of existing asphalt surfaces, thorough cleaning of paved areas, application of tack emulsion, installation of a minimum 0.2 ft. compacted Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) surfacing, and shoulder backing with Class 2 aggregate base. All work must conform to the 2010 California Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, utilizing specified materials and methods for a smooth, even, and safe finished surface. Traffic control and site cleanup are also required.
