General Project Description

This project involves the abatement of lead paint, preparation of wood and corrugated asbestos siding, and priming and painting the approximately 1452 square foot exterior of one historic comfort station (restroom) at Mecca Beach within the Salton Sea SRA. The scope includes cleaning, scraping, priming, and applying two coats of paint to both corrugated asbestos siding and wooden siding, matching existing colors. Miscellaneous repairs to the wooden siding, such as using wood consolidants or fillers, are also required. All work must adhere to current regulations, safety protocols, procedures, and CAL/OSHA requirements.
