General Project Description
The project involves providing ongoing refuse collection and disposal services for Clear Lake State Park. The contractor will supply all necessary labor, tools, materials, vehicles, licensing, insurance, and equipment to lawfully collect, transport, and dispose of refuse and/or recycling materials from various locations within the park. This includes emptying containers, picking up spillage, replacing containers and lids, hauling small paper cartons, maintaining metal bunkers and bins (painting, repair, replacement), providing recycling information and signage, producing CalRecycle reports, diverting organic waste from landfills, and providing receipts for organic material disposal. Services must comply with U.S. Forest Service, local health authorities, laws, rules, and regulations, and are detailed in service specifications and bid forms, which may include regular and additional container services for refuse and recycling.
