General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation and maintenance of road surfaces and asphalt parking lots across two California State Park areas: Los Banos Creek Campground at San Luis Reservoir SRA and Great Valley Grasslands State Park. The scope includes asphalt removal, road base compaction and repaving with minimum 3-inch asphalt, asphalt milling, leveling, aggregate subgrade compaction, curb installation, repainting of stop bars, asphalt parking lot rehabilitation, cleaning road edges, asphalt surface preparation, crack sealing (including 4,000 lineal feet), application of Slurry-II Seal (53,000 square feet), and re-striping of existing parking areas. The work aims to achieve clean and smooth final paving surfaces with appropriate flexible pavement coatings and asphalt paving techniques.

Quantity: As needed Unit: - Work Item: Chip Seal, Specifications: Conforms to Caltrans Standard Specifications Sections 37-1 (“Seal Coats”) and 94 (“Asphaltic Emulsions”), polymer modified, rapid setting, grade PMCRS-2h.
